Welcome to BCCHEA's website! You have found the homepage of a large group of Central Texas Christian home educators. BCCHEA's members are families in Temple, Belton, and surrounding areas who are providing a Christ-centered education for their children in the home.
We are a group of more than 100 families who have chosen to homeschool our children for a variety of reasons. Our members come from within an approximate 50-mile radius of the Fort Hood Army Installation, including Killeen, Fort Hood, Harker Heights, Gatesville, Kempner, Lampasas, and Copperas Cove. Our membership is culturally diverse, representing the presence of the local and military community
TEACH's purpose is to provide Christian home schooling families in our area with christian support and fellowship, group activities, field trips, curricula information, political and legal action updates and opportunities for parental interaction.
Home Educators Around Texoma (H. E. A. T.) exists to provide encouragement, support with resources, fellowship, and group learning activities to all persons or families who desire to home school their children or be involved in home school support. H. E. A. T. also serves to promote communication of vital and legal information among home schooling families.
TCH is an association of families in the greater Northwest Houston, Texas area who support and encourage each other to pursue excellence in learning together at home. TCH is a Christian organization, but is open to anyone who wishes to join. There are two levels of participation within the TCH. Those who sign the by-laws indicating agreement with our Statement of Faith will receive the newsletter and may take part in all activities and will be eligible for leadership positions. Those who indicate disagreement with our Statement of Faith may join as members and will receive a monthly newsletter and may take part in all activities, but will not be eligible for leadership positions.

The purpose of the Tyler (Texas) Area Christian Home Educators Association is threefold. 1. To provide a support group for parents and others involved and/or interested in teaching their children and to encourage the high standard of educational excellence throughout all the membership. 2. To provide an environment for our families to interact and participate in activities with other families who are in agreement with our Statement of Faith and have agreed to abide by the standards set forth in our Bylaws. 3. To further the appreciation of home schooling in the community through education and media communication.
Homeschool Inclusive Partnership of Tyler (HIP) supports homeschoolers in the Northeast Texas area. We are a secular inclusive group, meaning we have no religious affiliation but are open to all belief systems. This is a space for tolerance of other points of view. We have field trips, play dates,and other activities and are looking forward to new ideas and new friends!
