Mike and Jamie homeschooled an only child for 7 years and have added a toddler to the mix of craziness. They currently school an 11 year old and a 2 year old. Mike is a Sr. Network Process & Quality Manager with AT&T, where he has worked for over 20 years. He also serves in ministry at Glory of Zion Church in Corinth, TX. Jamie was a project manager for an international Sports Marketing & Video Production Company as well as the Founding Executive Director of The Bella Cavallo Foundation prior to her homeschooling years. Jamie owns and moderates several Yahoo & Facebook groups, including a homeschool field trip group that is made up of over 170 families in the N. Texas area. They are often on the go and car schooling as she is a firm believer in hands on learning. Mike & Jamie moved from South Florida almost 6 years ago & currently live in Keller/Ft. Worth, Texas but are planning a move closer to their church in the Denton area. They both enjoy friendly competition at the local gun range and are avid Nascar fans. Mike enjoys hunting and all things with the Military & History channels. Jamie enjoys Pinterest and would love to get back into golfing if time ever allows. She has a passion for helping others succeed in their homeschool journey and enjoys encouraging moms from all over the country.
Bruce and Debbie have homeschooled their 5 children for the past 19 years. Debbie led the homeschool group & co op, Seeds of Faith in Michigan and now EMCHS (Eagle Mountain Church Homeschoolers) here in Texas. It is their passion to see the generation of today equipped both academically and spiritually through homeschooling to make an impact for Christ in our world.
Ellie began homeschooling her children in 1982. She has been a support group leader, workshop presenter, convention organizer, and newsletter editor, and is still active in the homeschool community. Ellie is the chairman of Catholic Family Educators of Central Texas.
Stephanie is a graduate of Baylor University who taught for about 10 years in Spring Branch ISD before beginning her adventure in homeschooling. She has 4 children ranging in age from 3-14 years old and has been homeschooling for 9 years. She is also the leader of the Cypress Homeschool Association.
